How to Use a Modern Food Display Case in a Rustic Setting
Craftsman and Wolves is an iconic San Francisco bakery and patisserie located in the vibrant Mission district. James Beard-nominated pastry chef, William Werner, produces some of the city’s favorite, high-end, artisan creations.
Chef Werner wanted a location with a rustic feel. At the same time, he wanted to utilize low profile, sleek, jewelry-style display cases that were similar to ones he had seen when travelling through France. His vision was to create a beautiful shop with a unique look and feel.
Chef Werner began working on this project with Clabo USA prior to the shop’s opening. The goal was to find contemporary display cases that would seamlessly integrate with his rustic space. La Rossa H20 pastry cases were specified for the project, with each case measuring 60 inches in length. Chef Werner hired a millwork company to incorporate La Rossa cases, and the rest is history. Craftsman and Wolves has been in business for two years and has solid expansion plans for the future. And because of the aesthetic and functional versatility of La Rossa, Chef Werner can be creative with his space and his menu. Craftsman and Wolves is both modern and rustic, savory and sweet – all at the same time.
